It is so wonderful to watch Renee’s family grow! When I first met her, her son Tyler was just 1! Three kids later her house is full of the sweetest, well mannered, beautiful children. Her son Tyler even said to his mom “sorry I didn’t say please.” I mean…if that isn’t the most polite thing you have ever heard come out of a 5 year olds mouth I don’t know what is! Renee was in 7th grade with Elliot, so she really has know him a long time. Renee is sweetest person and such an amazing mom. She is a role model to me in how to raise friendly, kind kids.
I also want to say that I think Renee is the reason I read 50 shades of grey. I remember seeing her at the hair dresser so into this book and needing to know what it was.

Evening family time

  • Every evening it is important to Renee and her family to spend a few hours before bed to have family time.
  • Around 6pm, after dinner they all head upstairs and take their bath to get it out of the way.
  • The kids know after dinner they are going upstairs and look forward to it.
  • Her husband gets home around 6:30.
  • Once bath time is over it becomes all about reading books and playing as a family.
  • It is her and her husband time with the kids, all together.
  • They play board games, dance to music, and read book until bed time.
  • Tyler chooses a few books that they read and Ava chooses a few books and they read them all.
  • Evening family time allows all the kids to be who they are.
  • at 7pm Camille goes to bed and 7:30-8pm Tyler and Ava go to bed.
